A useful voice workflow starts with a practical question: what must the next person know to pick up the request without starting again?

Voice mode built

Our work on AI phone assistants starts with voice software we built ourselves.

Our project enquiry includes a developed browser voice mode: spoken input, spoken replies, a visible transcript and a way to submit the enquiry to our team. It uses WebRTC and OpenAI Realtime. A demonstration lets you see that work and discuss what your own call process would require. Connecting your telephone number and phone system would be a separate part of the project.

Give the next person a request they can act on.

A voice agent needs a defined job. We work through the questions it should ask, the information it may use and the point at which your team takes over. One potential use case at a building supplier: an installer reports a changed delivery address, and the agent collects the order reference, the revised address and a callback number, then reads the details back for confirmation. Your service team would receive a request ready to review and would decide from there. The agent would neither promise a new delivery arrangement nor alter the order on its own. We also assess how the result reaches your existing systems, so a completed conversation does not create another copying task.

  • Capture the reason for the call and the details needed for a callback.
  • Keep answers within an agreed information scope and hand over to a person in case of doubt.
  • Prepare a follow-up in the relevant system and check telephone connectivity and number routing.

When we are not the right fit

We are not offering a switch you flip tomorrow to put every conversation on autopilot. We start with a limited task and ask whether automating it is worth the effort. If organising the service desk would solve more than adding AI, that is where we will suggest you begin.

  • A low call volume may be handled perfectly well by a better callback process.
  • Negotiation, specialist judgement and sensitive conversations often belong with your people from the start.
  • An assistant needs dependable information and someone who can take ownership of unresolved requests.

Common questions about AI phone assistants

Can I try the voice mode on this website now?

It is currently switched off. The implementation exists, and you can request a demonstration to explore what it does and how it relates to your use case.

Will it connect straight to our phone system?

The existing voice mode runs in a browser. Your phone system, number routing and call handover would need their own technical assessment. We do not assume a ready-made connection.

Could it provide delivery updates or change an order?

Those capabilities would need to be scoped and built for your process. They depend on trustworthy records, appropriate access and clear approval rules. Until those are in place, capturing a request for review is the sensible limit.

Where does the conversation data go?

The current implementation connects directly to OpenAI for its Realtime service. It is not a fully local voice system. Provider arrangements, processing locations, retention and access need to be established for your project; Germany-only or EU-only processing has not been verified for this implementation.

Do we have a choice between cloud and our own infrastructure?

That choice depends on the architecture. Our existing voice mode uses a cloud service. A fully self-hosted approach would require separate planning and validation against your needs for conversation quality, data handling and operations.
